Wholesale and foreign trade clerks
- Getting to know and implementing all relevant purchasing tasks
- Ensuring quality standards
- Intensive customer contact
- Developing and implementing marketing measures
- Evaluation of all relevant key figures, statistics for success control
- Planning, management and control of all incoming and outgoing goods and warehouse processes
Foreign trade specialists go even further - Application of foreign trade and customs regulations and international trade clauses
- Foreign exchange calculation, including forward exchange transactions
- Correspondence and communication in a foreign language
During your 3-year apprenticeship at Peter Mattfeld & Sohn, you will work in all departments of our company:
- Purchasing department for the various products
- Import department
- Sales: direct sales, national and international telephone sales
- Cash & Carry fresh market (purchasing and sales)
- Incoming goods
- Warehouse
- Production department
- Accounting general administration
In all departments, you will receive a detailed induction
the opportunity to carry out the various tasks independently,
to further develop your skills.
What should you bring with you
- MSA, Abitur or Fachabitur (formerly Realschulabschluss)
or a comparable school education
in the field of economics - Open-mindedness
- Sociability
- Ability to work in a team
- Enthusiasm for the food industry
