Warehouse logistics specialists
- participate in logistical planning and organizational processes
- accept goods and check the delivery using the accompanying documents
- transport and route goods to their operational destination
- unpack, sort and store goods as required in accordance with economic principles and warehouse regulations
- carry out stock checks and stock maintenance measures
- pick and pack goods for shipments and assemble them into load units
- mark, label and secure consignments in accordance with legal requirements
- create loading lists and loading plans in compliance with loading regulations
- load and stow consignments in means of transport based on the accompanying documents and apply sealing regulations
- process shipping and accompanying documents
- contribute to the creation of route plans
- keep shipping records
- plan, organize and monitor the use of work and transport equipment
- use company information and communication systems, standard software and workplace-specific software
- communicate and cooperate with upstream and downstream functional areas
- work in a team and customer-oriented manner
- use specialist foreign language skills
- observe the principles of health and safety at work, environmental protection and the rational use of energy
- participate in quality assurance measures
During your 3-year apprenticeship at Peter Mattfeld & Sohn, you will work in all departments of our company:
- Cash & Carry fresh produce market (buying and selling)
- Order picking
- Expedition
- Incoming goods
- Warehouse
- Production
In all departments, you will receive a detailed induction
the opportunity to carry out the various tasks independently,
to further develop your skills.
